IRCA and NABAT announce bi-lateral agreement in India
IRCA and NABAT are pleased to announce a partnership that will
benefit auditors, students, Training Organizations and Indian
business and industry. Both organizations have agreed to cooperate
by offering dual auditor training course certification and by
accepting certificates from the each other's certified training
courses.
The bi-lateral agreement will:
- Reduce cost for training organizations.
- Enable NABAT and IRCA to work together to control
and improve auditor training.
- Provide auditors with the choice of NABAT certification,
IRCA certification or both.
- Increase user confidence in certified auditor training.
- Provide users of certified auditors with increased
confidence
IRCA Director, Simon Feary, says, "We believe that this relationship
provides our customers in India with improved choice and value-for-money,
and in the long term working in partnership with NABAT will
enhance auditor training and auditor certification in India
."
Vipin Sahni, Deputy Director of NABAT, comments that, "We are
delighted to be working with IRCA. Both organizations are committed
to improving auditor competence and we look forward to developing
our relationship in the future."
The agreement commences from June 2004 and includes in its
scope QMS, EMS, OH&S and Food Safety auditor training courses.
