AccountAbility announces the Global Launch of its revised Leading Sustainability Assurance Standard AA1000AS (2008)
On 24th October 2008, AccountAbility will formally launch their revised AA 1000 AS standard, otherwise known as AA 1000 AS 2008 at the Savoy, London. How does this affect my IRCA Certification as a Certified Sustainability Assurance Practitioner (CSAP)?
Because the new standard has some major changes to it, all IRCA CSAP will be required to complete either a minimum of 4 hours structured CPD or 8 hours semi-structured CPD to the new revised AA 1000 AS 2008 standard. A briefing note will be sent to all IRCA CSAP for more information on what you are required to do and to see a summary of the changes.
