Cessation of IPC Auditor Certification programme

After 30th September 2007 no further applications for IPC QMS Auditor certification will be accepted by IRCA in accordance with IPC rules. The IPC Multilateral Agreement (MLA) will be withdrawn three years after that date, on 30th September 2010.

What does this mean for current IPC QMS Auditors?

  • Auditors may maintain their IPC certification until the current 3-year period expires by paying the annual certification fee as usual. In turn, IRCA will send a certification card.

  • After the certification period expires auditors may not renew their IPC QMS Auditor certification. However, IRCA will offer the opportunity to transfer to the IRCA QMS Auditor programme (non-IPC).

What does this mean for IRCA approved Training Organizations?

From 1st October 2007 Training Organizations should not issue certificates that carry the IPC logo:
