First approvals for IT Service Management System Auditor courses
IRCA are delighted to announce that the first Information Technology Service Management Systems (ITSMS) Lead Auditor training courses submitted to IRCA have completed the course certification process. These courses are designed for students who wish to pursue a career as an auditor, consultant or practitioner within the IT service management industry, a key component of the overall structure of modern day global business.
Training Certification Manager, Teresa Folkes, commented “ this marks an important step on the path to establishing an atmosphere of confidence within the IT Services industry. Competent auditors will help ensure that IT services are designed and supplied to a level that consistently fulfils the requirements of the end-user. IRCA certified training courses will help the students develop the skills and attributes required of an auditor within the IT services industry. We look forward to further course applications from training organizations, and receiving auditor applications from the successful students who want to formalize their new skills with an IRCA qualification.”
Students interested in attending an IRCA certified course can find details of prospective training providers by using our 'Find a course' facility. The first certified courses were presented in Taiwan, please contact the training providers directly for dates and locations of future presentations.
IRCA released the certification criteria for ITSMS Auditor certification and course certification on 8th March 2007.
