IRCA Korea re-launched

IRCA has announced plans to increase the level of service and verification in Korea based on recent growth in this market. IRCA Korea has been operating since 2003 providing Korean auditors with information and help regarding IRCA auditor training and auditor certification. During this period IRCA has experienced a high level of interest in its products and services. The register of Korean management system auditors has risen from 600 in 2003 to approaching 1,000 in 2006.

Increased verification

To date all verification of auditor applications has been completed in London, a system which was hindered by language difficulties and time zones. Following a review of our Korean operations, a new IRCA office in Korea will include not only an information service, but additionally a verification service to check the audits and other information submitted as part of applications, renewals and regrades by auditors.

The certification decision and the overseeing of certification will remain the responsiblity of our UK office in London, however, it is important to note that Korean auditors have a choice of using the IRCA Korea office or the UK office to submit applications, payments and generally queries. Naturally, we can only accept communications and applications made to the the UK office in English.
