25% discount on QMS upgrade
IRCA is offering all auditors registered on its QMS 2000 programme a 25% discount on their fee to upgrade to QMS 2008.
Following the publication of ISO 9001:2008, in November 2008 IRCA published the requirements of how to update QMS 2000 certification to QMS 2008. Since the release of the IRCA/633 briefing note, more than 2,000 auditors have upgraded to the new standard.
IRCA will be discontinuing the QMS 2000 programme on 15 November 2010, according to the rules published by the IAF. IRCA therefore requests that any QMS auditors who have not yet submitted their CPD to the new standard should do so as soon as possible.
Robert Skelton-Stroud, IRCA operations manager said: ‘QMS auditors are dedicated to ensuring organizations are adhering to quality practices. Ensuring every certified auditor is up to date with the latest version of ISO 9001 is very important to IRCA. We encourage current certificated auditors to submit their CPD as soon as possible and as we are now offering a 25% discount this is the perfect opportunity.'
Auditors wanting more information on how to ensure they are up to date should visit the auditor certification pages.
Please note: If your certification is due for renewal, no update fee will be charged. If you are not due for renewal, please submit your CPD before 31 January 2010 to receive a 25% discount on your update fee.
