IRCA certifies new training
organizations

IRCA is pleased to announce that three new training organizations and 13 new courses have been IRCA certified in the second half of 2009. The new additions exemplify the diverse range of business sectors and management systems that need IRCA trained auditors.

The three training organizations recently approved are The Accountability Project, The International Register Training Institute (IRTI) and Training Solutions International (TSI).

Based in Canada, The Accountability Project is an initiative that aims to enhance sustainability and corporate social responsibility in organizations through meaningful accountability. It offers leaders and managers IRCA-certified corporate responsibility training.

IRTI is a division of the International Register of Shipping (IRS). As an independent organization that offers certification against its own quality system, IRS has had vast experience in training its surveyors. Recently, IRS has moved to offer training services, through the IRTI, to the whole maritime industry and its Maritime Training Course has now been IRCA certified.

TSI, the third organization now certified, offers QMS and EMS Auditor and Lead Auditor training in India.

Other courses that have been certified include ISOQAR’s information technology service management systems courses and a number of QMS, EMS and OH&S conversion courses. For more information about IRCA-certified training courses, visit the auditor training pages.
