INform needs your contributions
Would you like to be recognized by fellow auditors, your employer and the wider auditing community? Why not contribute to INform in 2010 and have thousands of auditors and quality professionals worldwide read your work?
Whether you are an IRCA auditor keen to share your experiences of auditing, an internal auditor interested in explaining a new technique or another quality professional interested in quality standards, you could consider writing for INform.
In each issue INform publishes nine features and any one of them could be written by you. Features are split into three categories:
Theme articles
Each issue of INform contains articles that focus on the issue's specific theme. This can include, for example, an insight into an available standard or an overview of the theme’s importance in auditing. In 2010 INform issue themes will be:
Issue 25: Information security and data protection
Issue 26: Professional development and auditor capability
Issue 27: Health and safety
Issue 28: Accreditation bodies
Auditor guidance
The remainder of the features in each issue is dedicated to providing practical advice and useful information for auditors and those involved with auditing. This can include tips on how to improve auditing skills, updates on key standards or guidance on how to carry out audits.
Extras
The final three articles of each issue are known as extras. This is your opportunity to voice your opinion about an aspect of auditing or a particular standard, or share your experiences of auditing.
How to get involved
Look at the 2010 features list and see whether any of the themes catch your eye. If nothing seems to fit what you had in mind, don’t worry – we are interested in featuring a wide range of material. The themes indicate a focus for an issue, but your piece may fit in our auditor guidance or extras sections. Next, put together a brief outline of what your piece would cover. Send this to E: sjrussell@irca.org
This is your chance to share what you have learned so far in your auditing career and gain recognition from your peers. So, why not get involved with INform?
