Happy New Year

The end of the year is nearly upon us and it has been a successful time for IRCA. Many changes have taken place within IRCA and in the auditing world and we want to share some of our achievements with you:

• the IRCA auditor register has finally hit the 15,000 mark. We hope to see it increase even further next year!
• the Business Continuity Auditor and training certification programme has been launched, developed in partnership with the Business Continuity Institute
• IRCA now runs a Corporate Responsibility training course certification that has been launched in conjunction with AccountAbility
• our Corporate Auditor training programme has been accredited to ISO 17024 by UKAS
• Simon Feary, IRCA director, was appointed CEO of the CQI
• the CQI has launched the Chartered Quality Professional status

Next year should bring many more successes for the CQI and IRCA; watch out for updates in INform!

The London IRCA and CQI offices will be closed for Christmas from 25 December until 5 January.
