New regulations mean new workshops at the CQI

With the proposed European regulation for accreditation looming close, the CQI is holding a European Service Directive workshop entitled ‘European Service Directive workshop driving up service quality’. The main aim of the workshop is to ensure that service providers, as well as supporting professional product quality and management system services, are equipped with the knowledge to retain or improve on their market share in the post-2009 European Union.

The move to standardize the accreditation approach in the EU should help to dispel concerns caused by the many different approaches that are currently adopted in various countries. The workshop will not only give an overview of the move, but will outline the different threats and opportunities that will inevitably rise from it and allow attendees to discover effective strategies that can be developed and implemented ahead of the completion date of December 2009.
