Who should take this course?

Those intending to audit management systems within a software/IT environment to meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2000, either as second or third party auditor. (Course requirement for certification as an internal auditor on the TickIT programme)

What will I learn?

• The process approach to QMS and auditing
• The 8 quality management principles
• The requirements of ISO 9001:2000 (and guidance in the accompanying document 9004)
• TickIT Guide Issue 5
• How to plan, complete and report the audit of an  entire QMS

How long?

5 days plus a 2 hour written examination

Those involved in the audit of some or all areas of their business operation in a software/IT environment as part of the organization's internal QMS audit programme. (Course meets training requirement for certification as an auditor on the TickIT programme)
